Walla Walla YWCA Gingerbread House

The local YWCA of Walla Walla Washington hosts a Gingerbread house event each year focusing on one particular candy.

This year is was the infamous GUMMY BEAR!

Last year the most popular candy used in the gingerbread houses was hot tamales and this year it was the gummy bear.

The annual Walla Walla YWCA Hansel and Gretel Gingerbread house event was held December 3rd through the 20th and entries were voted on until the 20th. Folks had until the 27th to view the amazingly decorated houses that were graced with licorice, M&M's, skittles and more.

But the most popular candy this year was the gummy bears. Funds raised this year will benefit the Blue Mountain Community foundation for projects helping the local homeless.
